My Review: The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

The Fault in Our StarsThe Fault in Our Stars by John Green
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

'The Fault In Our Stars' by John Green.

Okay. . . Okay. . .
I would like to state in the beginning that this BOOK is slightly overrated.
Before engrossing myself in this book, I'd read mixed reviews from the readers around the globe. Some people were going gaga about it whereas some remained neutral.
I would go with the latter's review. This book is not THAT good but yeah, it is good.
It is a must read for all the people who are suffering from the malignant disease, Cancer. Perhaps Cancer patients will relate themselves more to the characters of this book.
Now coming towards the characters, we meet Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters in this book.
Both teenagers striving hard to survive against Cancer. They meet at the Support Group Center, become friends in no time and then eventually fall in love. They try their best to live and enjoy life as much as they could as they were already familiar with their fate.
They pursue their dreams together and enjoy life as a roller coaster ride.
They both are completely different from each other yet so alike.
John Green is a terrific writer and now I know why his book won the hearts of million people.
Augustus really loved Hazel. When he came to know about her favourite book, he tried everything to know about its mysterious ending. He helps out Hazel to find out what happens to the characters of that book in the end.
Hazel loves him for that. He plans out a trip to Amsterdam just because Hazel and he wanted to inquire questions from the writer of that book that were left unexplained.
In the amidst of finding answers for the unknown, they fall in love with each other.
Again, TFIOS is highly recommended for the Cancer sufferers.
If you want to know more about this disease and the feelings associated with its patients, you must give it a read then!
For me, it was a good one and I would give it 3 stars out of 5.

Happy Reading.

Sara Naveed-Writer :)
